Requirements
- Strong background in computer architecture and algorithms, with 5-10 years experience in low-level C/C++ and optimizing software to hardware constraints
- Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL, design for FPGAs or ASIC tapeout, and demonstrated leadership in product delivery
- Ability to listen empathetically, understand constraints, and communicate effectively
Nice to have
- Initiating bringup for new hardware
- Interest in non-traditional computer architectures
- Experience with Go and Rust
- Long-term equity orientation
- Exceptional communication skills
Day to day
- Delivering performance improvements throughout the lower levels of Signaloid's technology stack, ranging from interfacing with custom silicon and FPGA accelerators to delivering algorithmic improvements
- Working closely within the leadership team to set and deliver the long-term technology strategy of the company
- Leading new technology initiatives within the company and exploring other opportunities based on performance
