Who you are

• 5+ years in identifying security vulnerabilities
• Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, and anomaly detection
• 3+ years of experience in identifying vulnerabilities in operating systems or native C/C++ applications
• Ability to pass Microsoft's Cloud Background Check

Desirables

• Public security research record
• Experience with bug exploitation and mitigation bypass
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows architecture

What the job involves

• Help engineering teams secure the operating systems built at Microsoft.
• Perform security design reviews, code reviews, and penetration testing on Windows and Azure features.
• Identify security vulnerabilities in key OS features such as network protocols and security features.
• Devise new protections based on a broad understanding of security.
• Collaborate with product teams to articulate the business value of security investments.
