Remote Senior Solutions Engineer Job in United States Confluent

Who you are

• 8+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience
• Experience with event-driven architecture, data integration and processing techniques
• Experience with database, data warehouse, and data lake technologies
• Experience with cloud architecture, migrations, deployment, and application development
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL
• Technical certifications in cloud development/architecture, data engineering, and integration
• Self-starter behavior and desire to tackle technical problems
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Confidence presenting to developers, enterprise architects, and C-level executives

Desirables

• Familiarity with solution selling
• Experience with Kafka or Apache Flink
• Challenger mindset

What the job involves

• Partner with Account Executives, and act as technical advisor for customers on data streaming solutions. Surface business needs and create technical designs. Facilitate discussions, inspire confidence, and drive creative solutions to overcome technical challenges.
• Help advance new and innovative data streaming use-cases. Lead technical proofs of concept and conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions. Provide thought leadership through technical talks and workshops.
• Guide customers with hands-on help and best practices for operational maturity. Analyze customer consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities. Forge strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
