Moxie is the clinical-grade growth engine behind hundreds of the country's fastest-growing aesthetic practices. We combine purpose-built software, expert coaching, done-for-you marketing, and compliance infrastructure — so providers can focus on patients, not paperwork.

Our approach is built on one belief: clinically-led growth is the only kind that lasts. From first patient to multi-location, Moxie gives aesthetic entrepreneurs the tools, team, and strategy to scale — without compromising their clinical standards, patient care, or business ambitions.

We also believe aesthetic entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be so lonely. That’s why we built Scale Society, our invite-only community for ambitious practice owners. Scale Society connects the next generation of leaders in aesthetic medicine with the playbooks, peers, and mentors to go further, together.

Moxie

Helping Aesthetic Practices Scale with Clinically-Led Growth

At Moxie, we empower ambitious aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices—without burnout, overwhelm, or guesswork. In just a few years, we've grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team now supporting 700+ practices nationwide.

Our purpose is simple: to unlock sustainable success for aesthetic entrepreneurs, at every stage of their journey.

Senior SEO Specialist (IC3)

We're looking for a Senior Specialist, SEO to own SEO as a strategic service line for hundreds of independent med spa practices — setting the strategy, raising and standardizing execution quality across our full book of practices, building the systems and reporting that let that quality scale without proportional headcount growth and leading a team of 2 SEO specialists who execute the day-to-day work across the practice book.

You'll also be stepping into ground-floor ownership of how Moxie responds to the shift toward AI-driven search (GEO/AEO), defining our approach before most companies have figured theirs out.

SEO is one of Moxie's highest-leverage, lowest-cost-per-lead channels, but today it's delivered as a checklist of tactics, GBP hygiene, citations, on-page fixes, across our Enterprise, Gold, Silver, and Growth tiers, without a single owner. You'll be that owner. You'll sit within Marketing Services alongside paid media and website, report to our Marketing Services Lead, and partner closely with Provider Success, Product, Data, RevOps, and Sales. Getting this right compounds organic growth for practices at a fraction of paid-media cost, strengthens our Enterprise offering, and protects practices from local-search and AI-search shifts that could otherwise erode their visibility overnight. This role is US-based and remote.

Our objectives for the role

Turn SEO from ad hoc tactics into a standardized, repeatable system. In your first three months, audit a representative sample of practices (launcher, operator, Enterprise), ship 2–3 fast, visible fixes, and design the SEO playbook/SOP — with SLAs, QA checkpoints, and a reporting cadence. By month six, you own the recurring SEO motion (GBP management, citations, on-page and technical audits, reporting) as a system that runs consistently across the full book of practices. Move the numbers and prove it. Measurably improve a core SEO metric — keyword ranking movement, Map Pack visibility, organic lead volume — across a defined cohort of practices by month six. By month nine, show defensible before/after growth in organic-channel contribution to lead volume and revenue across the practice book. Build the systems that scale. Define a local SEO tool stack (rank tracking, citation management, reporting automation) in partnership with RevOps and Product, and get reporting and optimization running on a largely self-serve system — dashboards, automated alerts, standardized playbooks — that requires minimal manual, per-practice effort from the rest of Marketing Services. Define Moxie's answer to AI search. Test and document our approach to GEO/AEO visibility (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), and set a 12-month roadmap for how the SEO service evolves across local, technical, content, and AI-search components. Be Moxie's SEO voice. Become the recognized internal subject matter expert — mentoring others, informing sales conversations, supporting Enterprise SEO asks and the Marketing Audit & Action Plan (MAAP), and shaping the SEO piece of the Enterprise offering.

We're looking for:

5+ years of hands-on SEO, ideally managing SEO across many small or local businesses simultaneously — at an agency or in-house at a multi-location brand — not just one brand. Depth across all four pillars: technical SEO (site speed, schema/structured data, crawlability), on-page/content SEO, local SEO (GBP, citations, Map Pack), and emerging GEO/AEO. Fluency with the standard stack: GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and a local-SEO/citation platform such as BrightLocal, Whitespark, or Yext. A systems thinker, not just a practitioner. You're energized by standardizing and scaling high-quality execution, reporting, and communication across hundreds of practices rather than hand-crafting one strategy at a time. 1-3+ years managing or mentoring junior team members, ideally in a marketing or SEO context. Comfort owning a service line end to end: setting strategy, defining SLAs and QA, and reporting impact in business terms — leads and revenue — not just rankings and traffic. Bonus: local-service, multi-location, or franchise SEO experience, given the parallels to Moxie's hundreds-of-practices model.

Why Join us?

Above all, we're in this to empower small business owners to own and grow their businesses. If you succeed, Med Spas will remain the opportunity for independent owner-operators instead of being dominated by a small number of large chains. If that speaks to you, speak to us. We have much left to build. But given the market feedback we're getting and our founding team's company-building experience, we think we are writing the first chapters of a real success story. Experience taking over as the owner of an entire service line. Most SEO roles go deep on one brand or spread thin across a few dozen clients; this one offers real strategy-setting authority plus the scale and data of hundreds of practices to test and prove what works. A role like this molds to its owner, but inevitably stretches and grows you as well. Define how Moxie approaches the AI-search shift (GEO/AEO) before most companies have figured it out — and if you've been frustrated by shallow, checklist-driven SEO, build the systems and standards you've always wished existed. Competitive salary and stock, and generous health/dental/vision coverage

At Moxie, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, trusted, and included. Our team lives by our values: act as owners, give more than we take, move with speed and care, and simplify and learn every day.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please let us know, we’re happy to assist.

Compensation Range: $106,250 - $143,750
