Who you are

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and industry specifications.
• Experience with root cause corrective action tools and methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.
• Capable of leading a team and managing supplier transition plans.
• Proficiency in utilizing Catia for drawing reviews.

Desirables

• Prior aerospace experience
• Prior rotorcraft experience
• Quality Engineer experience
• Telecommuting ability

What the job involves

• Support suppliers and supply management across various locations of Sikorsky Aircraft strategical and tactical support.
• Act as the subject matter expert within Supplier Quality taking ownership of issues and leading small multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders within Sikorsky for supplier quality concerns.
• Provide support throughout the product life cycle including issue identification supplier improvement and development activities.
• Implement process improvement activities that align with key performance measurements and organizational strategy.
