Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical role with at least 3 years as a Sr Systems Engineer or Sr Software Engineer
- Knowledge of configuring monitoring and allocating cloud resources including VMs storage IaaS PaaS and networking
- Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols
- Strong familiarity with Azure technologies and Azure resource management
- Scripting skills in PowerShell CloudShell Azure Resource Graph or KQL and infrastructure as code
- Ability to communicate technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Azure FinOps skills using Azure Advisor
- Experience with Agile Scrum or SAFe is a plus

Day to day
- Oversee the smooth operation of a large cloud-based application serving more than a million users
- Collaborate closely with vendor teams and internal Infrastructure Application and Security Operations groups to keep systems healthy secure and efficient
- Design recommend and implement Azure infrastructure improvements that strengthen scalability reliability performance and cost efficiency
