Who you are

  • Provide technical recommendations and thought leadership to customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Demonstrate sales engineering experience in software sales, DevOps, or Data Protection
  • Possess core fundamentals and technical knowledge of cloud data native architectures, Kubernetes, and Data Protection
  • Be highly energetic with a strong hands-on approach and desire to own success
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow-up
  • Have business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience required

Desirables

  • Kubernetes certifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes management solutions like OpenShift, PKS, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, etc.
  • Building Helm charts for application deployments
  • Integrating with open-source logging and monitoring solutions
  • Development experience with Go, Git, GitHub, Travis, etc.
  • Previous startup experience



What the job involves

  • Deliver and exceed regional revenue goals through innovative technical programs and account-level activities
  • Evangelize, position, and architect leading cloud native data management platform
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Kasten's Data Management Platform and competitive tools
  • Support pre-sales activities, building technical relationships with customers and partners
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to technical staff, senior management, and industry groups
  • Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, and funding
  • Lead technical sales calls and engage corporate resources as appropriate
  • Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups
