Who you are

  • Linux skills are a must
  • Experience in a support role in a large organisation
  • Industry qualifications on Linux & Kubernetes (Oracle, RedHat, AWS etc.) highly desirable
  • Skills with Linux Systems Administration (Oracle / RedHat), building, configuring, performance tuning
  • Experience supporting, maintaining Kubernetes clusters
  • Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills on both Linux & Kubernetes highly desirable
  • Well versed with commonly used networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSH

What the job involves

  • Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes based infrastructure services globally
  • Response to incidents, troubleshooting production issues and interfaces with internal customers
  • Work with Site Reliability Engineering team on shared full stack ownership
  • Understand end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and behavioural characteristics of production services
  • Act as the first escalation point for complex or critical issues, responsible for initial triaging and coordination of production incidents
