Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA License
- 4-6 years overall experience
- 2-4 years experience in GAAP and financial reporting
- Technical accounting guidance expertise including ASC 606, ASC 842
- Strong internal control and SOX experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Meet deadlines under pressure
- Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP applications

Day to day
- Provide experienced, hands-on technical accounting expertise to support accounting functions by maintaining accurate financial reporting and internal controls. Design and implement technical accounting processes and offer insightful analysis to finance, accounting, and management. Prepare internal financial statements, manage external compliance filings, and support year-end audits and mergers and acquisitions.
- Review processes and technical guidance ensuring accurate US GAAP financial statement presentation. Maintain accounting policies with ongoing evaluation to meet business needs. Collaborate with FP&A and other departments on key initiatives and projects.
- Evaluate and enhance internal controls and build a roadmap for SOX compliance. Provide training on accounting policies to operational and cross-functional teams. Perform general accounting tasks, prepare journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in providing accurate and timely information for external auditors and ensure clear policies and guidance.
