Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience and certifications)
- 4+ years providing architectural leadership for a complex, public-facing web modernization effort with high visibility
- 4+ years of experience with prominent cloud, service-oriented, and open-source technologies with demonstrated architectural design and system development accomplishments
- 2+ years supporting architectural discovery and solution development for new business opportunities, including developing solution diagrams and writing proposal language
- 2+ years providing architectural guidance for systems within a Microsoft stack (e.g. Azure, Sitecore, .NET)
- Must be able to successfully complete client background check including travel to California for fingerprinting
Nice to have
- Expertise in SDLC and RMF for federal customers
- Familiarity with TOGAF and SAFe
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure, or modern container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with industry standards for building services in Cloud environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Appian, and Salesforce
- Comfort facilitating technology discovery or system design workshops
Day to day
- In this high visibility role, you will work in a hands-on capacity to lead design and technical discussions with project teams, assisting in the design of technical solutions for proposals, and gaining trusted advisor status with clients.
- You will become a trusted advisor to our clients and delivery teams by reviewing our products and engineering processes to improve, standardize, and drive business value.
- You’ll design solutions that address complex modernization challenges while balancing our clients' business constraints and help roadmap the path to more performant, reliable, scalable, and maintainable approaches.
- You’ll work with the new business capture teams to understand requirements that are frequently vague or ambiguous, define a logical solution that meets the requirements, and document the solution clearly using diagrams and benefit statements.
- You’ll provide architectural perspective to the 75-person engineering practice and collaborate with other teams across ICF, particularly in the context of large and cross-cutting new business opportunities.
