Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience as a user experience researcher with mixed-methods expertise
  • Extensive knowledge and applied experience with diverse research methods
  • In-depth experience with user experience design and product development processes
  • Expertise with various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies including interviews panels immersion programs ethnographic field research usability testing and heuristic evaluations
  • Strong empathy for customers teammates and the company mission
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple leadership styles and maintain composure in ambiguity
  • A bias toward action with a strong desire to solve problems
  • Excellent attention to detail and due diligence



What the job involves

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to develop world-class end-to-end features addressing financial challenges for customers
  • Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods including surveys focus groups field studies usability tests and 1:1 interviews
  • Conduct research independently to help product and design teams build the right Commerce experiences for customers
  • Define and inform product roadmap through insights from generative and evaluative research
  • Analyze user behavior through in-depth interviews ethnographic research surveys contextual inquiry card sorting usability studies and other methodologies
  • Evaluate product design to better serve customers focusing on user experience and identifying growth opportunities
  • Advocate for customer needs through storytelling writing visual and verbal communication to build empathy
  • Develop programs that disseminate research findings across the organization ensuring customer-centric strategic initiatives
  • Create deep partnerships with cross-functional teams to deliver insights inform strategy and drive prioritization
  • Collaborate with Design Product Management Growth Marketing and Engineering teams to integrate research into product development
