Requirements

  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
  • 10–15 years of experience in HVAC building controls energy engineering or FDD
  • Skilled in solving problems with data visualizations and analytics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Autonomous self-directed and comfortable managing client relationships without close supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems mechanical sequences of operation and BAS documentation
  • Experience with multiple BAS systems and protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
  • Experience with FDD automated commissioning and performance measurement
  • Mechanical electrical or related technical degree or equivalent experience
  • US-based and comfortable in a remote-first client-facing role

Day to day

  • Own a portfolio of technical accounts and deliver consistent service outcomes while balancing competing priorities.
  • Lead complex diagnostic reviews across HVAC, controls, central plants, air handling units, and BAS systems, then translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Build trusted client relationships, support account growth, mentor junior engineers, and share feedback to improve service delivery and product workflows.
