Remote Software Compliance Analyst Job in UK Capita

Who you are

• Proven experience in delivery of effective licence positions and reconciliations
• A very good working knowledge of complex licensing for at least one major vendor (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware)
• Experience of major vendor end-to-end audit processes
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and associated licensing models
• Comfortable liaising with technical architects, data analysts and consultants at a technical level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all business levels
• SC Cleared or able to gain SC clearance

Desirables

• Working knowledge of at least one SAM tool (e.g. Snow, Flexera, License Optimizer)
• Strong understanding of technology including EUC Infra and Cloud
• Ability to articulate complex licensing positions in a simplified format to our stakeholders and customers
• ISEB – SAM Essentials
• ITIL Foundation
• ISO 19770-1

What the job involves

• Support licence compliance activities across Pan-Capita and Capita Clients ensuring adherence to software licensing agreements and optimizing software asset management
• Ensure accurate reporting of vendor compliance
• Develop optimized vendor licence positions
• Identify opportunities to reduce licensing costs to achieve cost savings
• Review and import new purchase information from third party systems
• Work with Data Analysts to correctly identify software products on the hardware estate
• Process Proof of Entitlement to manually match to applications where automatic reconciliation is not possible
• Develop and improve SAM lifecycle processes
• Qualify and verify all data sources required for SAM processing
• Analyze market changes and assess impact on vendor licensing
