Who you are

• BS or MS degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of successfully architecting and shipping high-performance products & services
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java or similar OO languages
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects
• Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures
• Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes
• BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
• 1 year of software engineering or related experience

What the job involves

• Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
• Work with authorities across industries and have access to the latest technology.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, and tools.
• Leverage cloud-native technologies to build highly scalable, resilient, and maintainable independent bounded contexts with monitoring and observability capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and timely delivery of software solutions.
• Offer troubleshooting expertise for existing application maintenance.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, performance improvements, and defect correction support for legacy applications.
