Remote Software Engineer II Job in Arkansas, United States Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, golang and bash or other lower level programming languagesOR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, golang and bash or other lower level programming languages OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, golang and bash or other lower level programming languages OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in distributed systems, Golang, networking (linux or windows), ebpf, cilium.

What the job involves

• Integrating eBPF instrumentation into customers Kubernetes clusters for best in class observability.
• Build DevOps tools to simplify the process of building, deploying and scaling software on Azure cloud.
• Collaborate with the ingress/egress and service mesh teams to ensure a frictionless customer experience.
