Remote Software Engineer II Job in Washington, DC Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Golang and Bash or other lower level programming languages OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Golang and Bash or other lower level programming languages OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Golang and Bash or other lower level programming languages OR equivalent experience
• Experience in distributed systems, Golang, networking (Linux or Windows), ebpf, cilium.

Desirables

• Experience in distributed systems
• Experience in networking (Linux or Windows)
• Experience with eBPF
• Experience with Cilium

• Integrating eBPF instrumentation into customers Kubernetes clusters for best in class observability
• Learn with open source technology and experience real customer Kubernetes workloads
