Who you are

• Experience leading an engineering team as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead in a Product Team model
• Experience with Agile principles and Scrum methodologies
• Ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects with Product and Engineering teams
• Mentorship and coaching skills
• Knowledge of common software engineering patterns and best practices
• Experience with high-traffic, scalable mobile applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent experience

What the job involves

• Lead a cross-functional team of Android, Backend, iOS, and Web engineers for a Product Squad
• Ensure engineers are aligned with MFP’s product vision and strategy using data and experimentation
• Take a hands-on approach to delivery management, ensuring backlog health, timely scheduling of maintenance and tech debt work, and proper work breakdown
• Implement Agile sprint ceremonies and coach others, fostering team engagement and empowerment
• Commit to the team's success through coaching and support.
