What the job involves

  • Generate direct business through proactive outreach to new customers or prospects via cold calling and strategic email campaigning
  • Work with direct customers and channel partners to identify and qualify sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to generate pipeline
  • Execute on strategic sales and marketing strategies, leveraging a value-based approach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers based on knowledge of Quest’s technology, products, and services
  • Acquire new customers and support of existing customers
  • Articulate the value proposition associated with Quest software products and services
  • Create and execute targeted account campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with the virtual team, including pre-sales, Inside sales, Sales Development Representative, Services team
  • Adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities while ensuring customer needs are met
  • Work with channel and alliance partners to increase opportunity size and expedite closure
  • Prepare and deliver business justifications and executive summaries to key decision-makers
