Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on parametric CAD experience for editing and 10+ years for complex assembly creation
- Practical application of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards
- Track record supporting at least two manufacturing methods including injection molding sheet metal CNC or casting and forging
- Current active involvement in mechanical or industrial CAD modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reverse engineering capability is a significant advantage
- Assembly-level modeling experience
- Optional scripting experience with Python iLogic or VBA

Day to day
- Create fully parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies from written briefs with robust feature trees and precise constraints
- Edit and update existing parametric models to satisfy new technical requirements while documenting changes clearly
- Audit models for dimensional accuracy tolerance application and manufacturability across injection molding sheet metal CNC machining and casting or forging
- Translate design intent into structured CAD data for AI model training and communicate progress through detailed reports and verbal updates
