Remote Solutions Architect Job in UK NEC Software Solutions

Who you are

• Strong technical proficiency in modern web applications and SaaS platforms hosted in Public Cloud
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to document requirements and design architectures effectively
• Good knowledge of data modelling database design principles and data integration techniques
• Experience working in the public sector with a strong understanding of government processes and requirements
• Ability to obtain Security clearance is required for this role
• You must be confident and comfortable to be left to solve problems self sufficiently and work autonomously as well as part of the wider remote team

Desirables

• Certification in AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR and Cyber Essentials
• Developer/software background

What the job involves

• Collaborate with the Head of Technology to design solutions required for customer projects documenting requirements and designing the architecture of applications
• Identify and address issues with existing architectures proposing innovative solutions to meet client needs
• Participate in bid calls and interact with the sales process providing technical input and expertise to support successful bids
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and issues to non-technical stakeholders ensuring a clear understanding across all parties
