Remote Solutions Architect/Technical Writer Job in Aliso Viejo, CA UST

Who you are

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing focused on software architecture and development
• Strong understanding of micro-service architecture, Azure services, and C#
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and document gaps and inefficiencies
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications in technical writing, Azure, or software architecture
• Proficiency with documentation tools like ADO Markdown, and diagramming tools like Visio or Lucidchart/Miro
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Open to feedback and willing to collaborate
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to guide teams
• Strong emotional intelligence to work with various stakeholders effectively

What the job involves

• Develop detailed 'as built' documentation for current systems and architecture
• Analyze and document legacy business logic and code base to identify gaps in Azure architecture
• Establish and maintain documentation standards and SOPs for development and deployment processes
• Collaborate with the Principal Architect and engineering teams to document critical knowledge and architectural decisions
• Create comprehensive documentation for micro-service architectures, including diagrams and flowcharts
• Document the integration and utilization of Azure services within the architecture
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, designs, and implementation details
• Continuously refine and improve documentation processes and standards
