Requirements
- 10+ years of material handling system design experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering
- Expertise in AutoDesk/AutoCAD drafting software
- Experience with material handling equipment OEM software drawing packages
- Extensive knowledge of automated material handling equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Experience with system simulation
- Extensive experience leading system pricing estimation
- Experience across all project phases from concepting through implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver and defend solutions to customers
- Extensive experience supporting design and sales presentations

Day to day
- Lead the development of automated material handling concept solutions and turn business data into practical designs
- Detail material handling concepts into functional layouts and select equipment that maximizes performance
- Develop automation alternatives and present clear pros and cons while supporting proposals sales efforts and customer recommendations
- Determine throughput capabilities compare layout options and deliver technical findings to internal teams and customers
