Remote Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Job in San Francisco, CA Socket

Who you are

• 7 to 10+ years pre-sales experience as Sales Engineer and Solutions
• Experience with enterprise customers in security or technical SaaS
• Ability to multitask, handle competing priorities, and demonstrate excellent time management
• Empathetic mindset and deep understanding of customer challenges
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies
• Familiarity with web APIs, SDKs
• Experience with open source, vulnerability management
• Able to read/write basic scripts in Python, JS, or Golang
• Knowledge of source control managers such as GitLab or Bitbucket

Desirables

• CS degree or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with medium to large customers
• Relevant security domain experience
• Familiarity with AI and Large Language Models

What the job involves

• Support enterprise customers by providing technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity
• Lead discussions and product demonstrations, addressing customer challenges and handling objections
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer needs to Socket capabilities and support Proof of Concepts
