Requirements
- 7 to 10+ years pre-sales experience as Sales Engineer and Solutions
- Experience with enterprise customers in security or technical SaaS
- Ability to multitask, handle competing priorities, and demonstrate excellent time management
- Empathetic mindset and deep understanding of customer challenges
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies
- Familiarity with web APIs, SDKs
- Experience with open source, vulnerability management
- Able to read/write basic scripts in Python, JS, or Golang
- Knowledge of source control managers such as GitLab or Bitbucket
Nice to have
- CS degree or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with medium to large customers
- Relevant security domain experience
- Familiarity with AI and Large Language Models
Day to day
- Support enterprise customers by providing technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity
- Lead discussions and product demonstrations, addressing customer challenges and handling objections
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer needs to Socket capabilities and support Proof of Concepts
