Who you are
Expertise in the utility or energy industries with a strong preference for meter-to-cash specifically in analytics billing big data or distributed energy resources
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer Solution Engineer or a similar role
Strong affinity for data and background in data architecture or analytics
Deep understanding of SaaS solutions including architecture and integration patterns
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations and communicate effectively with customers
Ability to build relationships and develop credibility with clients in sales and delivery settings
Ability to build trust and credibility with client technical resources when providing information on data architecture system architecture and system capabilities
Ability to distill complex ideas and translate them into terms relevant to disparate stakeholders including engineers designers business experts and laypeople
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to apply a creative and flexible mindset to problem-solving with the ability to focus on the details while maintaining perspective on the big picture

What the job involves
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of GridX product offerings, industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions
Collaborate with Sales teams to understand client requirements and provide product and solution recommendations
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's products and services to clients
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our software to potential clients
Assist in the technical qualification of leads and provide expertise during the sales process to ensure alignment with client requirements and product capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution requirements and ensure alignment with product roadmap
Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
Assist in developing proposals for clients including solution details cost estimations and delivery schedules for individual implementations in collaboration with Sales Product Solutions and Delivery teams
Set up Delivery teams for success by engaging the client in discovery conversations that derisk implementations
