Remote Solutions Engineer Job in UK Tailscale

Who you are

• 3+ years experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar
• Success working at a startup with multiple priorities and projects
• Experience in systems administration and troubleshooting: Linux, Mac, or Windows
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with networking and security concepts
• Desire to learn programming/scripting skills in Bash, Go, TypeScript, HCL

Desirables

• Experience in a devtool software company
• Experience in network security
• Experience in a software startup environment
• Experience writing project plans collaboratively with customers

What the job involves

• You will help customers design, implement, and manage their Tailscale deployment to meet business objectives
• You will work with Tailscale’s Sales and Customer Success teams to provide technical expertise and collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Support teams as needed
• You will own technical engagement with customers from pre-sales to deployment/implementation and maintain ongoing relationships post-deployment
