Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in IAM
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 OIDC and SAML
- Experience with lifecycle management RBAC and provisioning/deprovisioning
- Hands-on experience in web mobile backend or real-time communications development
- Experience with REST APIs API gateways and SDKs
- Deployed applications on cloud platforms such as AWS Azure GCP or Vercel
- Understanding of security concerns including password hashing SSL/TLS encryption at rest XSS and XSRF
- Customer-facing communication experience
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly
- Territory management and pipeline building skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science MIS or similar preferred
- Approximately 25% travel

Day to day
- Partner with the Corporate/New Business sales team as the technical expert helping customers understand Okta’s identity solutions
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and sales presentations that address customer needs and highlight business value
- Plan and run proof of concepts for complex use cases while collaborating with other engineering teams and sharing best practices
