Requirements
- Experience in engineering management and team leadership
- Foundation in Systems Engineering with understanding of Software Engineering
- Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Producing engineering schedules with dependencies
- Engineering estimation skills
- Management of risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and opportunities
- Eligibility for SC clearance

Day to day
- Establish yourself as the Sonobuoys Project Engineering Lead
- Manage engineering activities for Sonobuoys Production projects ensuring project scope is achieved within timescales and budget
- Bridge both in-service production and support and development of product enhancements
Hiring process

- On-site interview with the Sonobuoys Project Manager and Systems Design Authority focusing on project suitability and team fit
