Remote Special Investigations Specialist - Special Projects Job in London, UK Binance

Who you are

• 3+ years experience with cybercrime or financial investigations
• Proven track record of detected cases or technical assistance to detected cryptocurrencies cases
• Solid understanding of cryptocurrencies and differences between separate blockchains or networks
• Subject matter expertise and extensive experience with DeFi
• Excellent writing skills and ability to clearly communicate findings
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including thinking outside the box

Desirables

• Language skills including Mandarin Russian Arabic
• Experience with Python R or SQL
• Experience with research project design and management
• OSINT expertise

What the job involves

• Thoroughly analyze customer account data, on-chain and off-chain transactions, account characteristics, and other information to assess the nature of the activity and identify related entities as necessary
• Conduct detailed open-source research to identify vital data for investigations or due diligence initiatives
• Identify trends in abnormal or malicious activity to map out networks of bad actors
• Document research and outline steps taken, data sources reviewed, and conclusions drawn
• Liaise with other teams to assist and provide or gather information
• Provide feedback to relevant departments based on analyses to enhance the company's security framework
