Who you are
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of relative work experience
- CPA or MBA a plus
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles & internal controls
- Experience with regulatory accounting principles a plus
- Self-starter with respect for ethics & internal controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Databricks)
- VBA, SQL or Python programming experience a plus
- Proficiency with large data sets & drawing conclusions from analysis
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- High attention to detail
Desirables
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with regulatory accounting principles
- VBA, SQL or Python programming experience
What the job involves
- Responsible for operating expenses and month-end close processes and accounting for regulatory assets.
- High exposure to operational departments, maintaining communication for accounting implications.
- Working with large data sets, driving continuous improvement, and automation.
