Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of relative work experience
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles & internal controls
  • Experience with regulatory accounting principles a plus
  • Self-starter with respect for ethics & internal controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Databricks)
  • VBA, SQL or Python programming experience a plus
  • Proficiency with large data sets & drawing conclusions from analysis
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • High attention to detail

Nice to have

Day to day

  • Responsible for operating expenses and month-end close processes and accounting for regulatory assets.
  • High exposure to operational departments, maintaining communication for accounting implications.
  • Working with large data sets, driving continuous improvement, and automation.
