Requirements

5+ years of development experience: Python, Scala, or SQL
Professional experience: Event Streaming Platforms, data pipeline orchestration tools
Professional experience: Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, HIVE, Hadoop, Cloudera, RedShift
Experience in schema design and data ingestion/processing
Experience in developing containerized local environments: Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
Experience in orchestrating data processing jobs: Apache Airflow
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Day to day

Develop and grow data engineering capabilities for Strategic Product Development Organization
Make real-time decisions and facilitate analytics on existing products
Provide insights on potential new opportunities for growth
Partner with subject matter experts to solve business problems with data
Mentor data engineers and provide guidance, advice, and support
