Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant enterprise data engineering experience
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience
  • Deep expertise in cloud data platforms such as Azure Data services Databricks Snowflake and DBT Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of lakehouse architecture distributed data processing cloud warehousing data transformation and data governance
  • Experience building complex enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines for analytics AI/ML and operational decision-making
  • Proven ability to define standards processes and operational plans that improve stability resilience security and performance
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD infrastructure as code cloud-native operations and version control
  • Strong programming skills with Python SQL Spark and ETL or ELT tools including Azure Data Factory Fivetran Databricks notebooks and DBT Cloud
  • Experience leading data modernization and migration from legacy warehouses to cloud platforms
  • Experience managing vendors or offshore engineering work
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of AI data architecture quality governance lineage and scalability requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers
