Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 5-10 years of product design and development experience from concept through production
- Strong embedded software skills in C C++ RTOS and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of schematic capture PCB layout and component specification
- Knowledge of network topology infrastructure and database schema
- Experience designing and writing code for mobile apps
- Experience designing and writing code for web servers
- Commitment to accuracy quality goals and deadlines
- Proven project-level management track record
- Ability to coach technicians and less senior engineers and provide electronics leadership

Day to day
- Own the electronic design of products from concept through production
- Develop product and system architecture for small low and micro-power retail security systems
- Design micro-power analog and digital circuits and write microcontroller code using development tools
- Collaborate on design reviews manufacturing test regulatory compliance and cloud back-end integration
