Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Applied Engineering or a closely related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in robotics automation or complex industrial systems
Experience designing systems composed of multiple integrated components equipment and subsystems
Experience with machine tool automation load/unload systems work holding and fixturing preferred
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD with additional 2D/3D CAD experience a plus
Ability to read interpret and create blueprints technical drawings and fabrication specifications
Working knowledge of mechanical design calculations including geometry trigonometry tolerances and basic statistical concepts
Demonstrated capability solving complex engineering problems using data analysis and technical documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook and experience with MRP/ERP systems
Ability to manage multiple design deliverables meet deadlines and work independently in a project-driven environment
Valid driver's license with ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Must reside within the State of Indiana to work in remote capacity
Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Design and deliver advanced robotic automation systems from concept through release while balancing performance schedule and cost
Develop mechanical system architecture by defining requirements and evaluating feasibility manufacturability and cost impact
Design size and integrate complex mechanical components assemblies tooling and robotic cells with detailed layouts
Solve challenging engineering problems collaborate across cross-functional teams and contribute to proposals quotations and design reviews
