Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training and experience
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of technical principles theories standards practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in communications business project management or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of data entry computerized maintenance management systems call center or network operation center or IT service management systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong composition proofreading grammar spelling and punctuation
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to perform on-call duty and work non-standard hours
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age

Day to day

  • Design and develop system architecture to meet requirements for scalability reliability and performance
  • Troubleshoot installation configuration operation documentation and maintenance of mission response communications and infrastructure equipment across hardware software VTC and audio-visual systems
  • Provide technical support monitor servers administer user access maintain directory services and support emergency response drills events and on-call operations
