Remote Sr. Platform Accounting Manager - Revenue Reporting Job in United States Kraken Digital Asset Exchange

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field required
• Minimum of 7-10 year of experience in financial and/or regulatory reporting
• Working experience from the Big 4 or national accounting firms and/or industry, preferred in Financial Services, Fintech, broker-dealer, banking or exchange
• Working knowledge with SEC and regulatory reporting preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to handle and lead multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• CPA in good standing
• Experience with high volume transactions
• Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables, H- & V-Lookup
• Experience using an ERP system such as Netsuite, SAP
• Experience or knowledge with cryptocurrency

What the job involves

• The Senior Manager of Revenue Reporting will lead the revenue reporting and audit functions within the Platform Accounting team. The role manages the accurate and timely reporting of revenue, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policy, and collaborates with cross-function teams, such as Data Engineer, Finance Transformation, Treasury and Regulatory Legal, to analyze financial data. Liaise with internal and external auditors to support the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations, with concentration on revenue and transaction related functions
• Respond to financial and regulatory reporting requests by providing accurate and timely financial and operational information in accordance with company policy and US GAAP
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data gathering and reporting, including the use of technology and automation
