Requirements

  • 3–5 years in a product analyst product data scientist or product focused analytics role at a SaaS company
  • Strong SQL with comfort querying event tables dimensional models and time series data
  • Hands-on Mixpanel experience including instrumentation design funnels retention cohort and segment analysis
  • Experience designing and analyzing experiments including significance power and MDE
  • Strong product instincts and ability to identify actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-direction and ability to define priorities with PMs

  • dbt familiarity
  • Customer support background
  • PLG analytics
  • Feature flagging comfort
  • Python for ad hoc analysis

Day to day

  • Partner with PMs designers and engineering leads to scope analytical questions and turn findings into product recommendations that ship
  • Own Mixpanel end to end including instrumentation strategy event taxonomy naming conventions tracking specs debugging and reporting
  • Analyze product usage activation retention adoption friction and experiment results to produce clear decision grade insights
  • Build and maintain dashboards notebooks and documentation that make core KPIs easy to understand and use
