Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience in application security cloud security or infrastructure security
- Strong experience with AWS security services and primitives including IAM VPC networking and secrets management
- Experience securing large production codebases with JVM ecosystem experience preferred
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their security implications
- Strong prioritization and communication skills with the ability to advocate for security investments
- Experience in payments fintech or other regulated environments is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP OSCP or AWS Security Specialty are a plus

Day to day
- Strengthen the security posture of a core payments platform across application and cloud environments.
- Identify prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities in a large Java-based codebase and AWS infrastructure.
- Review AI-assisted development pipelines tool integrations and agent-accessible services to improve security practices.
