Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering application security or product security
- Hands-on experience with proactive security review on production systems
- Strong fundamentals in web application security cloud security and modern auth patterns
- Ability to read and review code in Python Java Kotlin or TypeScript
- Clear point of view on AI security risks and defender tooling
- Experience prioritizing ruthlessly in a fast-moving startup environment
- Ability to influence engineers without owning their roadmap

Day to day
- Run proactive security reviews of new features architectures and third-party integrations before release
- Improve product security through threat modeling design reviews and secure SDLC practices
- Own key AI security efforts including securing AI/ML systems governing internal AI tooling and reviewing AI-assisted code
- Partner with engineering to triage vulnerabilities support incident response and run tabletop exercises
- Build automation and internal tooling that scales security reviews while keeping shipping velocity high
- Collaborate with security consultants on pen test scoping vendor assessments and customer security reviews
