Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of (3) years of experience in technical writing
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Desirables

• 2 years of electrical industry or power management experience
• 2 years of experience in analytics, time management, positive customer interaction, and managing multiple tasks concurrently
• Experience with DITA, Arbortext Editor, advanced graphic design software
• Experience with Adobe Creative and Technical Communication Suites
• Experience with Git

What the job involves

• Develop and revise manuals to support Eaton UPS product lines.
• Create customized user and service manuals.
• Manage documentation projects, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Write clear, concise, grammatically correct prose to translate engineering and technical information to user/operator and service-level customers.
• Maintain contact with Product Management and Engineering teams to keep manuals current.
• Maintain proficiency with desktop publishing and graphics software, and adopt new tools.
• Capture and edit graphics needed for documentation.
• Create and maintain departmental processes, standards, and style guides.
