Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience supporting and performing journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Excel, with ability to use filters, formulas and use pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

What the job involves

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support various accounting functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial records, analyze financial data, and determine the appropriate account treatment of transactions.
  • Participate in and suggest improvements to financial system projects, claims system conversion, and special projects as applicable.
