Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
1-2 years of accounting experience supporting and performing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in Excel, with ability to use filters, formulas and use pivot tables.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

What the job involves
Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support various accounting functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial records, analyze financial data, and determine the appropriate account treatment of transactions.
Participate in and suggest improvements to financial system projects, claims system conversion, and special projects as applicable.
