Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering
- Deep experience with the modern data stack including Snowflake dbt Dagster Databricks terraform and cloud infrastructure
- Track record of leading platform migrations deprecations or upgrades across shared systems
- Ability to design secure reusable patterns for data ingestion access control and platform automation
- Experience with DevOps practices data governance or FinOps
- Ability to break down ambiguous cross-functional data problems and lead implementation end to end
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to balance business value maintainability and platform standards
- Interest in mentoring others setting standards and improving systems

Day to day
- Lead the design and delivery of foundational data products and analytics platform capabilities that power critical business use cases.
- Drive platform modernization by deprecating legacy workflows and migrating pipelines to scalable patterns.
- Own high-impact infrastructure, governance, and FinOps improvements across the data stack to improve scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape architecture, break down complex initiatives, and implement secure reusable data solutions.
