Requirements
- 8+ years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data
- Strong background in statistics machine learning and/or experimentation
- Expertise in at least one scripting language ideally Python or R
- Proficiency in SQL and Hive
- Strong business and product sense
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and iterating on a user product via A/B experimentation
- Experience leading key technical projects and influencing the scope and output of others
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience

Day to day
- Develop measurement frameworks and metrics that improve decision-making across the full user journey.
- Deliver clear, actionable analyses that identify shortcomings in Notifications strategy and uncover growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with product engineering and ML leaders to scope priorities influence projects and improve notification delivery content and user experience.
