Requirements
- 7+ years relevant work experience
- Strong skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems
- Experience with processors like ARM, TI, ST
- Familiarity with communication systems or wireless protocols
- Understanding of real time systems
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
Nice to have
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, USB
- Experience with medical regulatory environments
- Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy
- Agile or software development lifecycle experience
Day to day
- Develops embedded system software for Insulet products
- Ensures compliance with medical product policies
- Collaborates with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams
- Directs and mentors other engineers
- Participates in product design reviews and debugging
