Remote Staff Security Assurance Engineer - Vendor Security Risk Management Job in UK Databricks

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of security experience with 4 years in vendor security risk management
• Conduct security audits of vendors and manage vendor security risk programs
• Comprehensive understanding of security controls and technical security controls
• Familiarity with vendor security questionnaires and security regulations and standards
• Experience working effectively across different teams and with Legal Teams on security contracts
• Hands-on experience with BitSight or other vendor security monitoring software preferred
• Experience classifying vendors by criticality and security risk preferred
• Experience with Jira and security certifications such as CISSP preferred

What the job involves

• Enable Databricks to achieve third party certifications and manage vendor security risk
• Perform vendor security reviews and improve the vendor security risk management program
• Evaluate security program maturity, controls, and documentation of vendors
• Update security language in vendor contracts
• Benchmark, identify, drive, and manage vendor security risk management program improvements
• Analyze, develop, and maintain vendor security risk management program metrics
