What the job involves

• Part of a team driving innovation by designing developing troubleshooting optimizing and scaling full-stack cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Responsible for designing and building components enhancing configurability extensibility and interoperability of systems while striving for usability and scalability of data transfer
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in requirements analysis design development testing and delivery of scalable and secure distributed backend services
• Mentor and coach team members guiding them through complex design issues and performing peer code reviews
• Collaborate with product management architects and engineering teams to convert needs into functional and technical requirements
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions driving technical decisions with appropriate trade-offs on technology functionality performance and extensibility
• Implement refine and enforce software development techniques ensuring delivered features meet integration performance security and maintainability expectations
• Research test benchmark and evaluate new tools and technologies recommending their implementation in product development
• Maintain high software quality standards and write clean testable maintainable and secure code
• Inspire a forward-thinking team of developers promoting a quality-first culture
• Identify and address issues bottlenecks and opportunities for change or improvement
• Perform critical maintenance deployment and release support activities including occasional off-hours support
