Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management product management political strategy lobbying business development policy or a similar role
  • Experience working in or with state governments especially Texas government agencies
  • Existing relationships with Texas government stakeholders that can be leveraged
  • Successful track record of stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Strong process leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Clear communication and documentation ability
  • Comfort working with technology and supporting data analysis and product work
  • Open-minded humble and curious with strong listening skills

Day to day

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with state correctional leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Translate partner state needs into clear priorities, plans, and internal guidance for product and implementation teams
  • Use data, writing, and structured meetings to drive progress, support decision-making, and deliver impact
  • Navigate challenging environments with professionalism, empathy, and self-regulation while working with correctional staff and incarcerated individuals
