• Review new file assignments
• Draft initial pleadings and draft discovery
• Communication with Claim Business Partners and Plaintiff Attorneys on case status
• Assist with the identification and summarizing of relevant issues
• Assist attorney in preparing materials for trial, arbitration, or mediation
• Review and serve responses to discovery demands
• Assist clients in answering questions regarding discovery
• Draft responses to discovery demands
• Review new and proposed legislation and determine applicability
• Prepare brief to assist client in presenting case in small claims court
• 4 year Bachelors Degree preferred
• 0-2 years experience preferred
• Paralegal Certification
