Requirements
- Strong experience in passenger door systems and mechanical door controls
- In-depth knowledge of door control units door design and door functions
- Experience with trap and drag sensitive edge and selective door opening
- Knowledge of retractable steps and passenger door interfaces
- Experience integrating door systems with traction train control and brakes
- Systems engineering experience using DOORS and writing SRDs and test specifications
- Knowledge of railway laws and standards including Loc & Pas NTSN and EN13752
- Solid understanding of systems lifecycle and systems integration
- Experience in rail or rolling stock door and control systems
- Basic software coding knowledge is appreciated

Day to day
- Define the architecture of the passenger door system for rail and rolling stock applications.
- Integrate door subsystems and interfaces with traction train control emergency release and braking systems.
- Develop system level requirements functional documents SRDs and test specifications while supporting full lifecycle design and verification.
