Remote Systems Engineer - Fire & Security Job in Middlesbrough, UK G4S

Who you are

• Have previous electro-mechanical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
• Experience in fire alarm systems installation and servicing, preferably GENT based
• Possess an IT or Electrical/Electronic qualification
• Technical IT knowledge including Windows OS installation and networking
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles and attention to detail
• Enthusiastic team player who can work well under pressure

What the job involves

• Attend to maintenance calls and rectify faults on the first visit
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits and record site configurations
• Maintain car stock levels and accurate records
• Provide cover on a rotational out-of-hours basis
• Commission small projects and conduct quality audits
• Provide training to customers and colleagues
• Perform additional tasks as required
