Requirements
- Engineering Degree or equivalent required
- Experience in the telecommunications industry with a Networking vendor or Tier 1 carrier
- Experience with classical and disaggregated Photonic/DWDM/OTN Systems
- Understanding of terrestrial and subsea optical network architectures
- Knowledge of Packet/Optical Networks, Layer 3 & 2, and IP technology stacks
- Experience in network orchestration and telecoms management systems
Day to day
- Responsible for driving the technology proposition and evaluation stage of the sales process
- Articulating technology and product positioning to customers
- Designing networks to customer requirements and producing technical documents
- Attending trade shows and marketing events
- Responding to RFIs/RFPs and conveying customer feature requirements
- Providing after-sales support services
